Kingdom Kids
Our Kingdom Kids Wednesday After-School Club happens every Wednesday during the school year, in conjunction with the Yuma District School calendar, in other words, when there is school, there will be Kingdom Kids every Wednesday! From 4:00 to 5:00 p.m., kindergarten through sixth grade kids are invited to come to the Family Life Center (our gym), where they will find caring, committed adult volunteers, a nutritious snack, a Bible lesson, a time of worship, and lots of fun games and activities. We love serving all the kids in Yuma! This ministry is open to everyone in the designated age group.
Yuma Naz Youth
Our Yuma Naz Youth group generally meets the first and third Sunday evenings of every month, starting at 6:30 p.m. All youth from 6th through 12th grades are welcome and encouraged to come! Our leaders make sure that everyone feels loved and accepted in this ministry, that everyone has opportunities to get to know and love God, and have tons of fun! GriefShare
GriefShare (a ministry from Church Initiatives, Inc.) is a grief support and recovery group, where we meet for a 13-week cycle once each year, usually from September through early December. In this video-based curriculum, we are provided great video instruction from experts in the field, such as nationally known counselors, pastors, and theologians; as well as people who have participated in GriefShare themselves, and have relevant perspectives on key issues. Our leaders have experienced losses of loved ones, and have committed to helping others receive the support and recovery they have received. Small Groups
We have the following adult small groups available at this time:
Adult Sunday School meets every Sunday morning in the Fireside Room at Yuma Naz, at 9:30 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. A great group of people gather each Sunday morning to share life, coffee, and scriptural teaching.
Men’s Breakfast meets at 8:00 a.m., every second Saturday of each month, in our Family Life Center (gym). Pastor Dave brings breakfast and makes coffee, and gets the guys talking with a relevant devotional message from God’s Word. Guys, bring a friend and join this great group of fellas!
Women’s Dessert and Devotional is held at 6:30 p.m. on either the third or fourth Thursday evening of each month, in the Fireside Room. The exact date is announced each month on our Facebook page and in our Sunday morning service announcements. Each person may bring a dessert or snack of each individual’s choosing, if they wish; and coffee, tea, and water are provided. We have done various studies such as Jennie Allen’s Get Out of Your Head and Christine Caine’s Don’t Look Back; and we are currently going through Max Lucado’s Help is Here, on the power and availability of the Holy Spirit in our lives. Ladies, come enjoy friendship and community in this wonderful group of women!
