Join Our Family
Yuma 1st Church is not just a place to go, where you can worship God and learn about Him. It is a family to belong to, as children of God, where we are journeying together in truth and love, to know Christ and become more like Him. Gathering In-Person
At Yuma First, you can expect friendly greetings from caring folks and a selection of coffees, teas, and cocoa at the Keurig in the foyer. Our Sunday school classes are available for all age groups, and begin at 9:30 a.m., with the adults in the Family Life Center, and children in the lower level classrooms. Join us for fellowship back in the foyer after Sunday school, and we will begin our worship service at 10:30 a.m. in our sanctuary. Our worship music is live, with a mix of contemporary praise and traditional hymns. Our services generally last about one hour, with dismissal and benediction between 11:30 a.m. and noon. We offer a free gift to guests! Make sure to sign our guest book and check the Welcome table near the front entrance on your way out for lunch!
YOUTH AND KIDS
The Future is Now
Sunday school groups are offered for both younger children and for teens. A fun, caring environment encourages everyone to participate, enjoy their time with us, and come to know Jesus and grow closer to Him! During the service, we offer Children’s Church, for younger children, right after worship, during the sermon.
NURSERY
Our Nursery is available for parents to bring children 0-3 years-old if they are crying or being fussy (as can happen with all good children!). A nursery-aid is available upon request.
BRING MY KIDS?
Yes – by all means bring your kids. We would much rather have a church filled the noise of children than empty pews filled with silence.
